In Australia, ABC Rural reports on a unique inclusion adaptation to competition:

A horse riding coach says video is making dressage competitions more accessible for disabled riders who don't have the financial means or mobility to travel.

Alice Springs coach, Avril Troon, says the Riding for the Disabled 2009 Asia Pacific video competition will open up the competition to a lot more riders.

She says it's important for remote disabled riders to participate in national competitions.

"We're hoping it's going to be absolutely huge and I think it will be," she says.

"Working here at the moment in little old Alice Springs we're very, very isolated, and obviously the people here are restricted as to what competitions they can go to, because the travel here is just huge."
