On behalf of the Government of Lao PDR, the Lao National Tourism Administration (LNTA) is pleased to invite you and your colleagues to the World Ecotourism Conference & Green Tourism Exhibition to be held in charming Vientiane Capital, Lao PDR from 15 - 16 July, 2009.

With the support of United Nations World Tourism Organisation (UNWTO), Pacific Asia Tourism Association (PATA), The International Ecotourism Society (TIES), regional ecotourism organisations, Governments and distinguished academia, this important conference aims to present innovative approaches to sustainable tourism development and management at ecotourism sites, exchange lessons-learned regarding global best-practice in the ecotourism and community-based tourism sectors and seek solutions to mitigate and reverse negative impacts of tourism such as climate change and environmental degradation.
