It isn't your typical beach cottage -- at $5.5 million -- or maybe it for some people. This year's New American Home of the International Builders Show caters to Boomers' fantasies and changing stamina. From the description published in The Ledger it sounds like Universal Design here is used where "wheelchair accessibility accommodation" would be more accurate (The house has an elevator but no other Universal Design features or concepts are mentioned.)

Maybe next year.
